Trick-or-Treat and Halloween Events in Sebring, Avon Park, and Lake Placid 

Halloween is almost here, and Highlands County is gearing up for a weekend full of candy, costumes, and community fun! Whether you’re going door-to-door or checking out one of the downtown celebrations, here’s everything you need to know for Sebring, Avon Park, and Lake Placid this spooky season. 

Trick-or-Treating Dates & Times

Both Sebring and Avon Park will host door-to-door trick-or-treating on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Lake Placid will host trick-or-treating on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m (as poast of their Annual Block Party)

It’s the perfect night to grab your candy bags, show off your costumes, and explore your neighborhood before the big Halloween festivities on the 31st! 

Downtown Halloween Events — Friday, October 31  

Sebring’s Fall-O-Ween on the Circle

Friday, October 31, 2025 | 5:30pm – 9:00pm

Downtown Sebring will once again transform into a festive fall wonderland for Fall-O-Ween on the Circle!

Enjoy a night of family-friendly fun featuring:

  • Trunk or Treat stations around the Circle

  • Games, music, and activities for all ages

  • A Monster Mash and Costume Parade presented by Sevigny & Associates Eye Care

  • FREE Trick-or-Treat Bags at the Nucor Steel booth (in front of Signature Floors and Design Gallery)

3rd Annual Haunted Maze at the Circle Theatre
Presented by Haynes Pest Control, this year’s Haunted Maze is bigger than ever!

  • Lights On: 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (great for younger kids)

  • Lights Off: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (for the brave at heart)
    Tickets required for maze entry. 

 

Avon Park’s City of Charm: Spooktacular on Main

Friday, October 31, 2025 | 5:00pm – 9:00pm 

Get ready, Avon Park! Main Street is transforming into a spook-fun Halloween destination you won’t want to miss. The City of Charm: Spooktacular on Main will feature:

  • Downtown Restaurants & Bars offering Halloween specials

  • Local Shopping and festive storefronts

  • A Costume Contest for all ages

  • Halloween Photo Areas to capture your best spooky look

  • A Scavenger Hunt through downtown

  • A Haunted Museum and more!

It’s a perfect way to celebrate Halloween night with friends and family while supporting local businesses and soaking up the community spirit.

 
 
 

Downtown Halloween Block Party on Interlake Blvd. 

Friday, October 31, 2025 | 6:00pm – 9:00pm 
 
Get ready, Lake Placid! It's that time again for the Annual aowntown block party. Get dressed up and come out for a great times. The block party includes:
  • Trick of Treating
  • Vendors handing out candy 
  • Live DJ
  • Costume contests
  • Food truck rally

Whether you’re strolling the Circle, exploring Main Street, or trick-or-treating around your neighborhood, remember to bring a flashlight, wear something reflective, and watch for little ghosts and goblins crossing the road.
