Located north east of Wauchula on Highway 27 in Lake wales is Bok Tower garden, a botanical garden and sanctuary. The tower was built on one of the highest points in florida and is two hundred and five feet high.
The tower is ofter referred to as the “Singing Tower” because it houses one of the world’s finest carillons. Designed by famed architect Milton Medary and beautifully crafted Lee Lawrie.
The tower is not open to walk through however you can enjoy daily concerts from it’s carillon bells. The Bok tower gardens are open to visitors and has 250 acres of gardens and nature to enjoy.
